Raising Gospel Centered Children

June 2, 2012

Family idolatry is a huge sin in the church today.  Huge.  It shows up when our parenting becomes a performance, when we look to be validated by our children’s performance, when the kids’ calendars impedes faithfulness and so much more. The stakes are high, the sins can be massive and their lives become our most lasting last will and testament.

Raising kid’s who are Gospel centered is no easy, or risk free, task and it can be difficult to find a real solution to our brokenness.  We don’t need to tweak our parenting, we need a savior.

If you’re a parent and you’re broken, check out the post linked below.  Jesus is able and wanting to save–even save your parenting!–its time we start learning how we can lead our children to know this savior through us.
